Well there have been alot of misconceptions going around, alot of people think this will just be a normal online game, however it is still an RTS, it has become a hybrid City Builder, plus MMORPG and RTS

I think I would buy this... but they would need to keep in the Scenario editor, I would have fun with that Very Happy
Ill make us an AoEO roleplay

All the game units come free Razz

Just if you go premium you get more quests, equipment (For PvE) more places to visit (And thus more people to play against) more stuff to decorate your home city with and more Razz

for me the series ended after Microsoft forfeited ES, because the original idea / fans got pooped by that.
idk what exactly went wrong with ES. I think it was about not being profitable enough so they were closed by MS right? what i think would have been better, is if they quited the AOE series (because those were "finished" because they run out of content lol) and maybe make a AOM2 or a new game. I believe they were making such a game around HALO. making a game that goes back to AOE1, with elements from AOE3 but with graphics like a molested "warcraft" is retarded.

and the fact that this is a free to play game on steam doesn't make sense, welcome to the awkward side of gaming industry tbh :/
